Generator at Mysuru ZP office premises blasts

Mysuru: A generator installed at Zilla Panchayat office in the city blasted on Sunday. The cause of blast is said to be short circuit.
Soon after the blast, smoke filled the generator room, with the machine catching fire.
The ZP office is located on Krishnaraja Boulevard road, and the incident is said to have occurred at around 7 am. No casualties are reported.
Fire and emergency services personnel from Saraswatipuram who rushed to the spot, disconnected power supply, before putting down the raging fire.
