General Manager’s Safety Award for 5 SWR staff

Hubballi: Mukul Saran Mathur, General Manager of South Western Railway (SWR), held a safety meeting with the Principal Heads of various departments on Tuesday, at the GM’s conference hall in Rail Soudha, Hubballi, Gadag Road.
Following this crucial discussion on enhancing railway safety, Mukul Saran Mathur honored 5 employees with Safety Award, 1 from Hubballi Division, 2 from Bengaluru Division and 2 from Mysuru Division.
The awards were given in appreciation of their alertness during duty, their contribution in averting untoward incidents and ensuring safety in train operations during the previous months.
Hubballi Division: Shivaji L Pawar
Bengaluru Division: Kailash Prasad Meena and H S Mahesh
Mysuru Division: J B Lohith and Abu Saliya
Mukul Saran Mathur praised the employees for their quick thinking and dedication to safety, reiterating that “Safety First and Safety Always” remains the top priority of South Western Railway, according to Dr Manjunath Kanamadi, Chief Public Relations Officer, South Western Railway, Hubballi.
