Mysuru: A week after the gang rape followed by the arrest of six accused in the case, city police have taken the accused for mahajar at their native Tirpur in Tamil Nadu.
According to police sources, the city police who are continuing the investigation into the case seized some of the cloths worn by the accused, but disposed after committing the crime.
While the police have already arrested six in the case, one more is absconding, with the police searching him still.
A few days ago Mysuru City Police conducted the spot Mahajar on Lalithadripura road, where the accused sexually assaulted a girl student on August 24.
While they assaulted her boy friend, before outraging the modesty of the girl.
