Gang rape case! ADGP Pratap Reddy headed investigation team formed, says district minister Somashekar

Mysuru: Following the gang rape of a student, ADGP headed investigation team has been constituted to crack the case.
This was announced to media by Cooperation and District incharge Minister S T Somashekar, after chairing an emergency meeting with the elected representatives and police officers at Government Guest House on Wednesday.
“ADGP (Law and order) Pratap Reddy headed investigation team has been fotmed to investigate the gang rape case. I have conveyed all the details to Chief Minister,”said minister.
“The gang rape case has defamed Mysuru. We have taken it seriously and instructed to tighten the security across the city and increase police patrolling,” said Somashekar.
Acting on the complaint of the youth who was with the girl, police have filed a FIR.
“Now, the victim is in the hospital and she is out of danger. I have given all the details to Home Minister Araga Jnanendra and Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai,” district minister Somashekar added.
