Four-year-old baby girl choked to death after swallowing coin

Mysuru: A four year old baby girl was choked to death after allegedly swallowing a coin at Hirekyatanahalli village in Hunsur taluk on Sunday.
Kushi had gone to her grandmother’s place when the tragedy struck. She accidentally swallowed a five rupees coin while playing at the house.
As the incident came to light, she was rushed to a nearby hospital and later to Mysuru. However, the baby didn’t survive.
The coin was stuck in the throat according to the X-ray.
