Mysuru: Serial chain snatchings are turning into a passe, with robbers setting their eyes on smart phones that command a good price in used market too.
In a span of few hours, total four cases were reported in various parts of the city on Friday night by bike-borne miscreants.
While one phone was lifted at Chamundipuram circle in K R police station limits, another was near Jaganmohan Palace in Devaraja police limits, followed by Irwin Road and near Kote Maramma Temple on Mysuru-Nilgiri road totalling four cases.
A motorbike was also lifted and was traced near Srirangapatna in neighbouring Mandya district through GPS.
When Mysoorunews.com tried to reach DCP (Crime and Traffic) Geetha Prasanna for comments, she was not available.
