Former DRDO scientist, science writer Sudheendra Haldodderi no more

Bengaluru: Former DRDO scientist and popular science writer Dr Sudheendra Haldodderi passed away on Friday. He was 61.

Sudheendra who had suffered heart attack a week ago was admitted at a hospital. The oxygen supply to the brain was stopped and day by day doctors efforts to save Sudheendra was proving futile.

The family members have decided to donate the body for research, to Bangalore Medical College.

Sudheendra was an eminent scientist at DRDO and his acumen in sharing the knowledge about science, had struck a chord particularly with Kannada speaking people. His writings and talks about science and innovations were very interesting and simple to understand each and every concept.

After G T Narayan Rao, Sudheendra Haldodderi popularised science among common man. Be it aeronautics, robotics, computer science and several other topics,  Sudheendra had played a key role in reaching them to the people.

A true Kannadiga scientist, his untimely demise has shocked the native science lovers.
