Forest mobile squad personnel stumble upon two in Kollegal! Two tiger nails seized

Chamarajanagar: Sleuths of forest mobile squad police personnel stumbled upon two persons who were in the possession of tiger nails at Kollegal in the district.

The police have seized two tiger nails, and autorickshaw from them. The accused are identified as Narayani, 33 years, auto driver and resident of Dodda Nayakara beedhi and his friend Nayeem Pasha, 34, New post office road.

The police team led by SI Muddu Mahadev were investigating into another case near Anagalli road in the town, when the two who were in an autorickshaw started to run upon seeing the policemen. When the policemen caught hold of them Pasha revealed that he had two tiger nails with him.

He also claimed that he had purchased them from a person at the bus stand in Kollegal, three months ago, with the purpose of designing a finger ring. However, he fell short of money and was planning to sell them.

Head constable Guruswamy, Lokesh, Jayashankar and Jaffer were also a part of the team.
