Several works of art blooming with colourful flowers, are beckoning the visitors. It was special to see everyone taking photos at the selfie points.
The tourist spots and temples are recreated with 9 lakh different coloured chrysanthemums and roses. Arrangement of various flower decorative pots, various vegetable crops and nutritious hand garden models and vegetable carving exhibition and exhibition of various horticultural crops of the district and direct sale from farmers to consumers and comprehensive information about the programmes of various departments are available here.
Open from 10 am to 10 pm
The flower show is open to the public from 10 am to 10 pm every day. Cultural and entertainment programmes are organised from 6 pm to 10 pm every day. The ticket price for adults is Rs 30 and for children aged 6-12 it is Rs 20. The entry is free for school children wearing uniforms and coming in groups and children below the age of 6 years.

To attract the youths, selfie points at 10 different locations, awareness about tuberculosis in the shape of a flower, a still image with information about the NREGA project, a display of various attractive types of adenium plants, a display of bonsai plants, artwork made after carving various vegetables and fruits, and the arrangement of ikebana are attracting everyone.
Special attractions
More than 35,000 decorative pots of 40 different species of flowers, 1.50 lakh different species of ornamental plants such as petunias, salvias, antirrhinums, celosias, marigolds, zinnias, chrysanthemums and poinsettias.
Handloom and Weavers’ Cooperative Societies from various districts are participating, selling Cotton silk, Molakalmuru silk sarees, Chintamani silk sarees, cotton sarees, panche, bedsheets, towels, lungis and other handloom products made by handloom weavers at a 20% discount price.
Art works and demonstrations are being displayed by the Department of Agriculture, Department of Fisheries, Department of Education, Department of Forests, Department of Animal Husbandry, Department of Health, Department of Industries and Khadi and Village Industries.
MLA Ravikumar Ganiga, Deputy Commissioner Dr Kumara, ZP CEO Shaikh Tanveer Asif, SP Mallikarjun Baladandi, Town Municipal Council President Nagesh, Horticulture Department Deputy Director Roopashree, Handloom Department Deputy Director Rangaswamy and others were present.
