Flies, insects from Tejasvi’s land in Mysuru

Mysuru: ‘Tejaswi Keeta Prapancha’ the world of insects from writer K P Poornachandra Tejaswi’s land have been unveiled in Mysuru.

It has tiger, lion, crows, beetles etc., all brought under roof at the two-day exhibition organised as a part of 81st birth anniversary of the writer who found his life amidst the lap of nature at Mudigere in Chikkamagaluru.

It is organised by Abhiruchi Prakashana as part of its 26th anniversary at Suchitra Art Gallery in Kalamandir.

The department of Entomology, College of Horticulture, Mudigere has exhibited various species of butterflies, insects as a tribute to Tejaswi whose writings on winged attractions from birds to flies enriched literature in science in Kannada.

Wildlife photographers duo Kripakar- Senani inaugurated the exhibition.

Various photos of birds and flies from the stable of Tejaswi are also on display.
