Fire erupts at part of Chamundi Hill forest

Mysuru: Fire erupted at a part of forest in Chamundi Hill near Lalithadripura, triggering panic among the people.
The raging fire followed by thick smoke was noticed on Wednesday afternoon, prompting fire and emergency services department personnel to rush to the spot.
An estimated 10 acres of forest is suspected to have gutted in the fire.
Every summer a part of the forest catches fire, mostly due to the sweltering heat.
