Farooquia DEd College converted into 150-bed Covid Care Centre

Mysuru: Farooqia DEd College at Udaygiri in the city has been converted into a 150- bed Covid-19 care center. It is also a first in Narasimharaja Assembly Constituency where the Covid cases are on the rise.

Deputy Commissioner Abhiram G Sankar on Thursday inaugurated the centre set up by the district administration and Mysuru City Corporation for treating asymptomatic patients. 
 
Youth leader Nabeel Mohamed Khan son of RMET Honorary Secretary Taj Mohammed Khan has arranged more than 40 volunteers and nurses who have come forward to render their services.

A special team of doctors will work round the clock in three shifts. Safety apparatus, medicine will be provided by the district hospital. Doctors of various hospitals and clinics will be supervised by Dr Fuzail Ahmed of Al-Ansar Hospital.
 
Food, water and other essentials are provided by the committees formed by various muslim leaders and ulemas.
