Farmers stage protest in front of Mysuru-Kodagu MP’s office

Mysuru: Farmers under the banner of Samyukta Kisan Morcha, staged a protest I front of the office of Mysuru-Kodagu MP Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar, at CADA office premises in the city on Friday.
The farmers under the leadership of Kurbur Shanthakumar, demanded that the MPshould raise the issue of farmers in Lok Sabha.
Shanthakumar said, our leader Jagjith Singh Dalaiwala, who is leading Dehli Chalo, is on hunger strike since 17 days, demanding fulfilment of farmers demands. Our MPs are sitting pretty without discussing about farmers issues in the Parliament.
The Delhi Chalo protest by farmers, has been demanding Minimum Suport Price (MSP) for every farm produces. The price must be fixed as per the recommendations of M S Swaminathan Commission. The agricultural loans of all the farmers should be waived off and all the farmers aged above 60 years be given pension.
