Mysuru: Following a wild elephant attack, a farmer was killed on the spot at Nemmanahalli in H D Kote taluk on Sunday.
The elephant is suspected to have strayed out from Moleyur range of Bandipur National Tiger Reserve Forest.
Yogesh who went to a Ginger farm in the morning was attacked by the pachyderm.
Learning about the incident, forest personnel rushed to the spot and succeeded in driving the elephant back into the forest.
