Fake news clipping on B L Santosh on FB; Mysuru police arrest one

Mysuru: Lakshmipuram Police have arrested a person on the charge of spreading fake news on BJP National General Secretary Organisation B L Santosh on Facebook social networking site.
Following a complaint by Niranjan Murthy B against posting a fake news clipping under the title ‘Naavu Hindutvadalle Munduvareyuttheve, Lingayatara Agathyavilla’, on Friday, Police arrested one accused on Saturday and remanded to judicial custody, after enquiry.
Police Commissioner B Ramesh has appreciated the police team for tracing the accused.
