Mysuru: It’s the failure of the Delhi government in communicating the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and National Register of Citizens(NRC) that resulted in the deadly riots, observed columnist and Yuva Brigade founder Chakravarthy Sulibele.
Speaking to mediapersons in Mysuru on Saturday, Sulibele said the national capital is witnessing deadly riots and the government must take responsibility for it.
Lack of proper communication in explaining the CAA and NRC has divided the capital over religion.
He pointed out that during the enforcement of triple talaq, the government had allowed people to communicate and comment widely on it.
As a result, Triple Talaq did not see much opposition. However, it did not happen with the CAA and NRC.
As many as 42 lives have been lost in the communal violence that gripped Northeast Delhi.
