Extension of illumination! Federation of Organisations and Associations of Mysuru thanks district minister

Mysuru: Federation of Organisations and Associations of Mysuru thanked the district incharge minister S T Somashekar for extending the illumination of Mysuru city till October 24.
This follows the announcement made by Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai during his visit to Mysuru for Jamboo Savari on Friday.
Various organisations had requested the district minister to extend illumination for few more days, as more tourists were thronging the city.
This had come as a major relief for tourism stakeholders, who were hit due to Covid-19 crises for over one year. The hospitality industry got a new lease of life during Navaratri festivities.
However, the district minister had passed the buck on CM. Responding to the demand, CM gave his consent to extend illumination for few more days.
Mysuru- Kodagu MP Prathap Simha, MLA L Nagendra, Association President B S Prashanth, Vice-president C Narayan Gowda, directors C A Jaykumar and Ravi Shastri were present.
