Expert from IIIT, Madhya Pradesh provides tips and tricks on effective research publication

Mysuru: ECE Research Centre of GSSS Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women (GSSSIETW), Mysuru, had organised a webinar on “Tips and Tricks for Effective Research Publication in IEEE Transactions” under IQAC in association with IEEE Student Branch recently.
Dr Varun Bajaj, faculty in ECE Department, Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), DM, Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh was the resource person.
Bajaj presented a webinar on “Tips and Tricks for Effective Research Publication in IEEE Transactions ” by mentioning that “IEEE transactions publication is prestigious and brings status in professional community and a renowned professor in a good university always demands one or more Transactions publications from his doctoral student”.
Bajaj gave in depth explanation of various steps involved in writing and publishing scientific research paper. He gave information about What is publishable in IEEE transactions? organising the paper, significance of writing paper in accurate English and review process.
He also gave information about ethical publishing which covered the topics like Duplication, Multiple Submissions and Redundancies.
Bajaj concluded by saying “If you are an academician aspiring for a career in future days, you must establish a strong publication base. Above all, quality publications bring satisfaction in one’s career”.
This webinar was attended by faculty members, research scholars and PG students from the country and abroad such as Asia Pacific University Malaysia, Sharnbasva University, PDA Engineering College, APPA IET, Kalaburagi, ATME Mysuru, VTU RRC Mysuru, VTU RRC Kalaburagi, SJBIT Bangalore, Presidency University Bangalore, GSSSIETW and from other institutions.
Bajaj clarified all the doubts and questions raised by the participants. The webinar was appreciated by all the participants. They expressed that this webinar gave valuable inputs for writing and publishing research papers in IEEE Transactions.
