Entry to tourist places banned for new year in Chamarajanagar

Chamarajanagar: In the wake of Covid-19 pandemic, the district administration has restricted the entry of tourists to the tourist spots in the district ahead of new year.
According to a release from the office of deputy commissioner, the restrictions will be in place from the eve of new year on December 31 to the day of new year on January 01, 2021.
Accordingly the tourists are restricted within the radius of five km of Bharachukki Falls in Kollegal taluk, Hogenkal falls in Hanur taluk and Chikkahole and Suvarnavathi dam areas in Chamarajanagar taluk.
That apart, the guidelines related to bursting of only green crackers will be in place.
