End of guessing game? Mandya MP Sumalatha Ambareesh to address media tomorrow

Mandya: As rumours of Mandya MP Sumalatha Ambareesh joining BJP flying thick and fast, MP Sumalatha will address the media here on Friday. She will speak to the media at her residence in Chamundeshwarinagar at 12 noon and is expected to make her next political move public.
For over a month now, rumours of her joining BJP have been floated and on Thursday, JD(S) MLA Puttaraju too claimed that MP Sumalatha will join BJP on March 10. This could be a sheer coincidence that MP Sumalatha is meeting the press on March 10. But political observers in the region, however, claim that this was long expected.
MP Sumalatha reportedly held a meeting with her followers, recently, to discuss her joining the BJP. She also met BJP leader S M Krishna reportedly to discuss her joining the Saffron party.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is coming to Mandya on March 12 to inaugurate the ten-lane Bengaluru-Mysuru expressway and to boost the party’s prospects in the old Mysuru region.
