DSS plans protest rally on August 5

Mysuru: Dalith Sangharsha Samiti ( DSS) will be taking out a rally in the city on August 5.
The rally will be taken out from Town Hall to deputy commissioner’s office at 10.30 am to draw the attention of authorities towards atrocity cases.
DSS leader Ningaraj Malladi said ‘The adikarnataka community still lacks a political voice. There are nearly 10,000 dalits in the district who are still waiting for justice in the disputes related to lands’.
Dalit leaders Karya Basavanna, Bannahalli Somanna, K Nanjappa and Puttalakshmamma were present.
