Drug racket! Three college students arrested in Mysuru

Mysuru: In a joint operation, city crime branch (CCB) police and CEN police have busted a drug racket by arresting three college students, in the city.
Acting on a tip off, police raided a house in SBM Layout, ‘A’ block, Bogadi and seized drugs and MDMA weighing 24 grams, electronic weighing machine, two each laptops and two-wheelers and five cellphones worth Rs 1.2 lakh.
The accused who are studying in a college in the city were procuring drugs and other substances for a lesser price from Kerala natives in Bengaluru and were selling them to college students in the city for a higher price.
ACP (CCB) C K Ashwath Narayan led the raid team that included Inspector G Shekar and CEN Inspector Jayakumar, Salim Khan, Lakshmikanth P N, Prakash T and CEN personnel.
DCP (Crime and Traffic) Geetha M S supervised the raid.
Police Commissioner Dr Chandragupta has congratulated the police personnel for busting g the racket.
