Mysuru: Sri Ram Sene President Pramod Muthalik has the names of 32 politicians who have nexus with drug mafia in the state. He has decided to send the list of those names to home minister and DG and IG of police.
Muthalik the enfant terrible leader who spoke to media, lashed out at the police department for why they were waiting till their counterparts from Delhi came for a raid. What was the intelligence wing doing in the state? questioned Muthalik.
He further alleged that “the owners of casinos, bar and hukka bars, politicians and Corporators are all involved in the racket”.
The political leaders irrespective of BJP, Congress and JD(S) are all involved in the illicit activity and are trying to bury the case in a concerted manner. When I had raised the same issue earlier when BJP government was at the helm, I was targeted. Had the authorities acted then, it wouldn’t have been possible for the drug racket to spread its tentacles far and wide.
The racket can be likened to “Love Jihad” and it has assumed the proportion of ” Drug Jihad”, alleged Muthalik.
Fugitive underworld don Dawood Ibrahim is the kingpin and drugs is being supplied through Punjab, Goa and Gujarat, alleged Muthalik.
