Dr S Vidyashankar KSOU new VC
1 min readBengaluru: Dr Vidyashankar S has been appointed as new vice-chancellor of Karnataka State Open University ( KSOU), Mysuru.
According to a notification from the office of Karnataka Governor’s secretariat ‘ Vidyashankar from the department of Mechanical Engineering, Bangalore Institute of technology, V V Puram, Bengaluru has been appointed for a period of three years with effect from May 30, or until he attains the age of 65 years, whichever is earlier’.
The extended tenure of incumbent VC Prof D Shivalingaiah ends on May 31. The tenure of Shivalingaiah had previously ended on March 10, 2019′.
The notification dated May 28 has been issued from the Governor’s secretariat.
