Dr Radhika Vishveshwara from Mysuru is ‘Mediqueen Mrs Maharashtra 2022’

Mysuru: Dr Radhika Vishveshwara, a Postgraduate student of Medicine from MGM Hospital, Navi Mumbai won the ‘Mediqueen Mrs Maharashtra 2022’ award.
She is a resident of Mysuru and did her MBBS at JSS Medical College, Mysuru.
Mediqueen Medico Pageant in association with Dr Prerana Beri- Kalekar (Managing Director), Dr Prajakta Shah (Secretary), Ranka jewelers, Dabar India limited Shivamrut milk products and Akluj had organised the beauty contest for all the married women doctors of Maharashtra. The year marks the third season of this competition.
Around 200 women doctors from across Maharashtra took part in the event. Among them, 55 competitors were selected for the final round.
Speaking after winning the coveted title Dr Radhika said “Mediqueen is not just a beauty contest but also considers the social work, contribution in the field of medicine, art skills, fitness, hobbies and personal achievements of the doctors”.
The beauty pageant was organised for doctors from the field of Allopathy, Ayurveda, Dental, Homeopathy and Physiotherapy from all over the state of Maharashtra.
Auditions were held in cities of Mumbai, Pune, Nashik, Aurangabad and Nagpur in December 2021.
Famous Actor Samir Dharmadhikari, Shital Ranka (owner chain of Ranka jewellers, Maharashtra), Dr Revati Rane – practicing gynecologist and obstetrician, Akluj (winner 2020 Mrs Mediqueen Maharashtra- royal category), Dr Ujwala Practicing gynecologist and obstetrician and IMA president Bardapurkar (winner 2020 Mrs Mediqueen classical category Maharashtra), Dr Shraddha Javanjal, Social work jury and Dr Amol Gitte, Thane were the jurists.
