Dr Prasanna Shankar of Mythri Hospital no more

Mysuru: Dr S Prasanna Shankar (74) of Mythri Hospital, Chamundipuram in the city passed away on Saturday morning due to cardiac arrest.
Dr Prasanna Shankar, who was a popular medical practitioner in Chamundipuram, was a known name among medical fraternity.
He is the great grandson of centenarian late Kadlepuri Nanjundappa, a known name among wealthy families of yore.
He is survived by his wife Indumathi, housewife, daughters Dr Mythri and Amulya, an engineer, sons-in-law, two grand children, relatives and friends.
The last rites will be performed on Sunday morning at Veerashaiva Lingayat burial grounds in Vidyaranyapuram, after the arrival of his daughter Dr Mythri, who is settled abroad, according to family members.
