Dr K S Sadananda to inaugurate CFTRI ‘Open Day’ on September 26

Mysuru: Dr K S Sadananda, Prof. of Cardiology & Medical Superintendent, Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences & Research, Mysuru, will be inaugurating the Two-day Open Day celebrations at CSIR-Central Food Technological Research Institute, Mysore, on September 26 at 10 AM.

The Premier Research Institute will keep its doors open to public on 26th September 2022 (Monday) and 27st September 2022(Tuesday). The entry is only from the North gate, opposite Akashavani, KRS Road. The public can visit the Institute from 11 AM onwards on 26th and from 10 AM onwards on 27st September 2022. The last entry would be at 5 PM on both days.

Dr Sridevi Annapurna Singh, Director, CSIR-CFTRI along with Er H S Sathish, Chief Scientist and Chairman of the CFTRI Openday, extends a warm welcome to all on the occasion of the “Open Days”.

“We welcome every citizen of in and around Mysore and students to visit CSIR-CFTRI on these days. We wish to disseminate knowledge in the area of Food Science and Technology so as to enthuse the student fraternity”.

This year the focus is Food Technology-Industry Connect. Public can also see Mobile Food Processing Unit and some of the machines designed and Developed at the Institute. Visitors can also view Food expo consisting of stalls of CFTRI Licensees who have taken Technologies. On display will be research activities of R&D departments of CSIR-CFTRI, especially related to the central theme and Entrepreneurship.

Arrangements are also made to brief the visitors of all the age groups.
