Dr Dharanidevi Malagatti appointed director of Kannada and Culture Department

Mysuru: Writer and IPS officer Dr Dharanidevi Malagatti is the new director of Kannada and Culture Department.
Dr Dharanidevi’s previous stints include SP of Kolar district, Principal of Police Training School, Mysuru and Deputy Director of Karnataka Police Academy, Mysuru.
She is a prolific writer with several literary works to her credit.
She is the wife of Dr Arvind Malagatti who retired as Director of Kuvempu Institute of Kannada Studies, University of Mysore.
