District minister promises to reveal Dasara expenses on November 1

Mysuru: Cooperation and District Minister S T Somashekar on Tuesday announced that he will reveal Dasara expenses in detail on November 01.
Addressing media persons, Somashekar for whom also it was a maiden Dasara as a district incharge minister said “State government had announced grants of Rs 10 crore and MUDA Rs five crore. However, we succeeded in organising Dasara utilising the funds announced by the government. We haven’t sought MUDA funds”.
As announced earlier, “It was a simple, traditional and virtual Dasara this year. As per the recommendations of expert committee, only limited numbers of people were allowed for the events.
Though simple, Dasara was celebrated in a meaningful manner. Due respect was given to Corona Warriors. Hence Dr C N Manjunath of Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences and Research inaugurated Navaratri festivities.
Somashekar also thanked Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa, Pramoda Devi Wadiyar and all the elected representatives for successful Dasara.
MP Pratap Simha, MLAs SA Ramadas and L Nagendra, MUDA chairman H V Rajiv were present.
