District judge M L Raghunath releases Mysuru Bar Association’s diary-2022

Mysuru: Principal District and Sessions Court judge M L Raghunath released the diary of new year 2022 brought out by Mysuru Bar Association, on Law Courts complex, on Saturday.

Addressing the gathering judge Raghunath said “opening a diary is nothing but opening a new life.”

Newly nominated Karnataka State Bar Council Vice- President B R Chandramouli was felicitated by Mysuru Bar Association on Saturday

Recalling the year that passed by, judge Raghunath described the year 2021 as a black year for Mysuru alone lost over 40 advocates to Covid-19 pandemic.

Amid this, Mysuru holds the distinction of solving 56,000 cases in the year in Lok Adalat, a first in the country.

Advocate B R Chandramouli who was recently nominated to Karnataka State Bar Council as its Vice- president was also felicitated on the occasion.

Mysuru Bar Association President S Anand Kumar, Vice-  President S G Shivanne Gowda, secretary B Shivanna and others were present.
