Mysuru: District Incharge Minister Dr H C Mahadevappa inspected the venue of Yuva Dasara near Uttanahalli on the outskirts of Mysuru city on Sunday.
“Yuva Dasara” is one of the most attractive programmes during Nada Habba Mysuru Dasara, and as people from surrounding districts including Mysuru city come to watch the programmes, the Minister suggested to provide necessary facilities to the people.
Thousands of young people come and celebrate Yuva Dasara. It was suggested that all arrangements should be made so that there would be no inconvenience due to large number of people descending on the venue.
Most importantly, the women should be provided with more security.
He suggested that all necessary precautions should be taken as the events will be held at night.
DIGP (Southern Range)Dr M B Boralingaiah, Deputy Commissioner G Lakshmikanta Reddy, Zilla Panchayat Chief Executive Officer K M Gayathri, Police Commissioner Seema Latkar were present.
