Diabetes Day! Suyog Hospital plans awareness programmes

Mysuru: On account of World Diabetes Day on November 14, Suyog Hospital at Ramakrishna Nagar in the city has planned various awareness programmes.
Dr S P Yoganna said on November 12 ” The hospital has formed a Diabetics club only to create awareness against the non- communicable disease, which has been fast pervading due to lifestyle habits”.
MLA L Nagendra will inaugurate the awareness programme organised on the hospital premises, followed by a talk on food practices by nutrition experts. Nanjappa president of Diabetics Club will interact with patients. A rally by club members and hospital staff is also planned later.
S K Nanjappa, Ramesh Chandra and Dr Subhashini were present at the press meet.
