Dharwad MLA Vinay Kulkarni holds first review meeting outside district

Dharwad: Dharwad Rural MLA Vinay Kulkarni who is barred from entering the district, held the first review meeting of various departments at Kittur Circuit House. Deputy Commissioner Gurudutt Hegde and all other officials travelled to Kittur – where the MLA is currently residing – to attend the meeting.
Vinay Kulkarni is barred from entering the district in connection with ZP member Yogesh Gowda murder case. Kulkarni won the elections without visiting the constituency as his wife and children and supporters campaigned for him. Now that he is elected, he has the onus of addressing the issues of his constituency and he found this way out. Kittur is 32 kms away from Dharwad and people and officials continue to visit him to submit their representations.
