Delhi polls: Former CM, AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal suffers shocking defeat

New Delhi: Former Delhi Chief Minister and National Convener of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Arvind Kejriwal, has lost the elections to Delhi Legislative Assembly.
In a major jolt to the ruling AAP Government, it’s prominent leader Kejriwal, lost to BJP’s Parvesh Sahib Singh Verma, by a margin of about 3000 votes, with the statistics of official polling of votes, awaited.
Kejriwal, who was in a cliffhanger position, either leading or trailing, by a thin margin, since the counting of votes began, finally conceded his New Delhi Assembly seat to Parvesh, son of former Delhi CM late Sahib Singh Verma, who was in office between 1996 and 1998.
