Defeated, but not down! Vishwanath ups ante for cabinet berth
1 min readBengaluru: Former minister A H Vishwanath may have failed to repeat his success in the recent by- elections on BJP ticket, but is not willing to give up his demand for a cabinet berth in BJP government.
Continuing with his efforts, Vishwanath met Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa at his dollar’s colony residence in the city on February 3.
Vishwanath a prominent leader from Mysuru region is claiming his due ahead of the much awaited cabinet expansion on February 6.
Vishwanath was one among 17 MLAs of previous Janata Dal ( Secular) and Congress coalition government who embraced saffron fold after a high drama to help BJP install its government.
However in the recent by- elections held to 15 constituencies, Vishwanath failed to win, thus stymying his chances of making it to cabinet.
