Deer killed, rider injured as two- wheeler rams herbivore

Chamarajanagar: A deer was killed on the spot, while a two- wheeler rider sustained grievous injuries in an accident on Chamarajanagar- Udigala road on Friday.
The rider identified as Ashwath, 60 years of Chamarajanagar was riding towards Udigala when the male deer aged around five to six years, came in the middle of the road.
Ashwath who couldn’t control, rammed into the animal, before falling off the two-wheeler.
He has been admitted to a hospital in Mysuru for treatment.
Forest personnel who visited the spot took the carcass of the deer into their custody.
Traffic police have registered a case.
