DC Rohini Sindhuri denies Chamarajanagar DC’s charges as baseless

Mysuru: Expressing regrets over the Covid deaths at Chamarajanagar district hospital due to alleged disruption in oxygen supply, Deputy Commissioner Rohini Sindhuri on Wednesday denied the allegations pointing fingers at Mysuru as baseless.

Speaking to media persons at Jaladarshini Guest House, deputy commissioner clarified that ” The district administration responded to them (Chamarajanagar) in crucial moments.”

Many rumours are being spread against me, but in my decade long service, I haven’t done such things. As they (Chamarajanagar  DC) have given statement to media, I am clarifying things.

“Despite of the risks involved, we sent 40 cylinders from our district hospital. Had they demanded the oxygen early, we would have made some arrangements, but they asked for oxygen during odd hours,” DC added.

We are working round the clock to protect lives in Mysuru, said DC.
