DC Ashwathi visits Chamundeshwari sugar factory, rice mill

Mandya: Deputy Commissioner S Ashwathi visited Chamundeshwari Sugar Factory at Bharatinagar in Maddur taluk on Wednesday.
The deputy commissioner visited the factory on inspection as the production has resumed.
The DC collected information on the functioning of the factory and related matters.
She also inspected the place of harvesting sugarcane and interacted with farmers.
It was followed by a visit to Bhraveshwara Rice Mill at Valagerehalli in Maddur taluk, where paddy procured from farmers under minimum support price (MSP) under 2020-21 is stocked and the processing of hulling is also on.
Owner of Chamundeshwari Sugar Factory and officers of food and civil supplies department were present.
