Dasara 2020! Cultural programmes at palace to offer a blend of music and dance

Mysuru: As Navaratri festivities began on Saturday, the cultural programme at Palace premises will begin from the evening. The programmes will begin with a dance ballet from 8pm to 9 pm by Shubha Dhananjay and troupe, Bengaluru.

October 18: Flute recital from 7 pm to 9 pm by Vidwan Shashank Subramanyam and troupe, Hassan.
 
October 19: Devotional music from 7 pm to 8 pm by Vidwan Rahul Velal and troupe, Bengaluru. Panchaveene from 8 pm to 9 pm by Vidushi Geetha Ramanand and troupe, Bengaluru.
 
October 20: Vachana recital from 7 pm to 8 pm by Ambaiaha Nuli and troupe, Raichur.
 
Daasavani from 8 pm to 9 pm by Putturu Narasimha Nayaka and troupe.
 
October 21: Tribute to S P Balasubrahmanyam from 7 pm to 9 pm by Rajesh Krishnan and troupe, Bengaluru.
 
October 22: Police band from 7 pm to 8 pm.
Fusion music from 8 pm to 9 pm by Varija Venugopal and troupe, Bengaluru.
 
October 23: Folk singing from 7 pm to 8 pm by Honnaru Janapada Gayakaru Dr P K Rajshekhar and troupe, Bengaluru. 
 
Hindustani – Karnataka Classical Music Jugalbandi from 8 pm to 9 pm by Vidwan Shafiq Khan (Sitar), Vidwan Karthik Nagraj (Violin) and troupe, Mysuru.
 
October 24: Layataranga from 7pm to 9pm by Vidwan Giridhara Udupa and troupe, Bengaluru. 
 
Limited persons will be allowed at the palace for all the programmes and live telecast on television channels is arranged for the benefit of music connoisseurs.
