Darshan Puttannaiah’s birthday: K S Puttannaiah award ceremony at Holalu village

During the ceremony, MLA of Malavalli P M Narendra Swamy recalled how Puttannaiah was raising the voice in the Assembly to support the farmers’ issues, such as the fixing of support price for sugarcane crops in a scientific way.

It is admirable that, the award is being presented in the name of such a stalwart leader, said Narendra Swamy.

MLA Darshan Puttannaiah who has a far sighted thinking about about the new projects and is involved in the development works of his constituency, with the cooperation of the CM and Ministers. I wish him all the best for his future as well, said Narendra Swamy.

Darshan Puttannaiah assured that, he would undertake development works under the guidance of elders. Farmers used to run to the offices to air their grievances. Realising this, the government has launched a door-to-door programme to solve the issues related to the farmers in the Panchayat limits. I will continue this project, so that the wandering of farmers will be reduced to some extent.
