Damage to Vyasaraja Vrindavana: Vipra community takes out protest rally

Bengaluru: Demanding the arrest of the miscreants involved in the destruction of Vyasaraja brindavan at Anegondi in Gangavati taluk in Koppal district, members of Vipra community under the banner of Akhila Karnataka Brahmana Mahasabha ( AKBMS), Akhila Karnataka Madhwa Mahasabha and other like-minded organisations, on Saturday took out a rally in the city.

The rallyists held placards thanking the gesture of fellow community members in restoring the vrindavana in a swift manner and also condemned the sinister act of the miscreants by damaging the tomb of the reverred saint.

It was also appealed to instil courage among the community members by taking measures to  prevent similar incidents from happening in the future.

The rally started from Benne Govindappa Mutt and concluded at Gandhi Bazaar circle after passing through Vani Vilas road.

Devotees of Vyasaraja from Sri Mukhya Prana Mandira, Chamarajpet Madhwa Sangha, Sumadhwa Seva Sangha, Madhwa Yuva Parishat, Vyasaraja Yuva Vedike and members of all bhajan Mandalis took part in the rally.
