Dalit minister demand boomerangs on Siddaramaiah

1 min read

Mysuru: Former chief minister Siddaramaiah’s tweet questioning the BJP’s stand on dalits, has provided enough fodder for political pundits on Tuesday.

Siddaramaiah’s rather mocking tweet questioning its double standards on the welfare of dalits, when none of the dalit MPs from the State elected on BJP ticket finding a place in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s cabibet has boomeranged on him.

Much before BJP could react, most of the twitteratis have shot back at Siddaramaiah. They have demanded him to set an example by anointing either M Mallikarjun Kharge or G Parameshwara both dalit leaders in Congress, as chief minister of the State.

A Twitter user has reminded Siddaramaiah of spiking the victory chances of Parameshwara in Koratagere assembly constituency in Tumakuru in 2013 assembly election. The buzz is that, Siddaramaiah sabotaged Parameshwara’s chances, to fulfil his desire of becoming the chief minister. It’s no more a secret.

BJP in its Twitter handle has asked Siddaramaiah to set an example by making Kharge the chief minister.
