Mysuru: Dalit leader Harihara Ananda Swamy demanded action against Rangayana Director Addanda C Cariyappa under SC, ST ( Prevention of Atrocities) Act.
Ananda Swamy President of Karnataka Dalita Chaluvali Nava Nirmana Vedike alleged that ” Cariyappa sent a Dalit worker on compulsory leave eight months ago and has not paid him salary, pushing the family into difficulties.”
Rangayana which should be a cultural hub has turned into a war field, with caste and religion getting prominence. Let Cariyappa be a warrior of Kodagu, if he resorts to dictatorship it seems like fostering Hitler culture.
Hence, Rangayana should be devoid of both, leftists and rightists. it should remain only as a cultural hub, Anandaswamy said.
