Dada Saheb Phalke Award for Amitabh Bachchan

New Delhi: Popular bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan has been selected for the prestigious Dada Saheb Phalke Award for the year 2019.
The big announcement came from Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting Prakash Javadekar on his twitter handle.
Amitabh, aged 76 years, is in the 50th year of his career in the industry ever since he debuted in the year 1969.
He was previously awarded Padma Vibhushan in 2015, Padma Bhushan in 2001 and Padmashri in 1984.
