Dacoits attack Kerala gold merchant; flee with cash, car

Mysuru: A gang of seven to eight dacoits waylaid a car of a gold merchant from Kerala and fled with his car with Rs 15 lakh inside on February 02.
The incident occurred near Gejjagalli Gate on Mysuru- T Narsipur road in Mysuru South police limits.
Abdul Saleem in his complaint stated that “I was travelling in the car along with my brother-in-law Muhammad Irshad. Seven to eight strangers who were following our car in two sports utility vehicles ( SUV) broke the glasses of the car only to scare us. They later attacked with pepper spray and made away with the car with Rs 15 lakh. We had collected the money after selling gold”.
A case has been registered and investigation is on.
