Customer drives away with cab
1 min readMysuru: A man who booked a cab belonging to Jugnoo a taxi aggregator has allegedly driven away with the vehicle, after hoodwinking the driver.
A youth called the Jugnoo office and booked a cab for Infosys Technologies in Hootagalli. Raghuswamy of Hunsur who had attached his cab with the taxi aggregator went near the city railway station to pick up the customer. They later drove towards Megalapura near Yelwal at the insistence of the customer.
After travelling a distance, Raghuswamy had to stop the car to clear a tree fallen in the middle of the road. As Swamy got down, the customer allegedly drove away the cab leaving the driver in a fix.
During initial investigation, it has come to light that the cell phone through which the customer booked the cab, belongs to another person.
Yelwal police have registered a case.
