CSIR skill initiative! Online course cum training on food processing by CFTRI on August 17-18

Mysuru: Two-day online course cum training on food processing is organised by Central Food Technological Research Institute (CFTRI), Mysuru on August 17 and 18.

Under CSIR integrated skill initiative CFTRI has organised the course for the benefit of MSMEs and Startups working in the area of food Processing with the involvement of experts in various engineering operations and machinery development. The duration of the program is from 9.30 am to 1.30 pm.

Tentative program focuses on Challenges in Food Processing, Unit Operations in Food Processing, Primary and Secondary Grain Processing and Machineries for Processing of Fruits and Vegetables. Roasting, Drying and Frying Machines and Packaging and Labeling, Machinery Layouts for MSMEs and Standards, Regulatory Requirements and Energy Auditing.

Online application can be filled up to August 11. Rs 500 (can be paid online / SBI branches through SBI-Collect). ITI, Diploma, Graduates who are aspiring to be entrepreneurs, new entrepreneurs and startups are eligible to apply. Only 100 seats are available.

Those who successfully complete online course will be given e-certificate.
