Covid violations! Mysuru district police book over 32,000 cases, impose Rs 32.83 lakh fine

Mysuru: The district police have booked a whopping 32,778 cases and collected Rs 32,83,700 fine from the violators of face mask and social distancing norms in the wake of Covid-19.
According to SP R Chetan, “from June 30 to July 3, the police inspected several vehicles for unnecessary movement and booked 618 cases and have collected Rs 2.63 lakh spot fine.”
In the wake of measures to control Covid, the district police are conducting special drives to check offenders.
