Covid vaccine! 162 sites marked for distribution: DC Rohini Sindhuri

Mysuru: With Covid-19 vaccine expected soon, the district administration has marked 162 sites to vaccinate the people.
Deputy Commissioner Rohini V Sindhuri said ” following a video conference meeting with chief secretary, we conducted a Dry Run complying with government protocol.
We have identified Primary Health Centres (PHC), taluk hospitals, besides looking into private arrangements. Overall 162 sites are marked for the initiative”.
“As per the previous survey, there are 32,000 front line health workers including doctors and Asha workers. Among them, 15,000 are from government workers and 17,000 from private medical sector”, said DC Rohini Sindhuri.
We are not getting any accurate information about the date of availability of vaccine. However, we may get vaccine in a few days, DC added.
