Covid-19! Veerashaiva Mahasabha flags off free ambulance service

Mysuru: Akhila Bharata Veerashaiva Mahasabha, Mysuru unit on Friday flagged off two ambulances to help the needy from Veerashaiva- Lingayat to transport the bodies of Covid victims.
The mortal remains will be ferried for free in the city and across the district.
S P Manjunath Secretary of JSS Mahavidyapeeth said “In this difficult hours, the poor will be benefitted with the service.”
Writer Maleyur Guruswamy who launched the service wished that it should reach the needy in large numbers.
Hinkal Basavaraj former president of the Mahasabha district unit and incumbent State executive committee member presided over the ceremony.
Corporator Sunanda Palanetra, Mahasabha national executive committee member Lokesh Thumbala, State committee treasurer Varuna Mahesh, State committee member Guruswamy, city unit president Chandrashekar, Taluk president B K Nagaraj, Youth wing president Jayashankar, president of Basava Balaga Federation Mahadeva Swamy, city unit general secretary Prakash and district unit directors Shivakumar, Lingaraju, Dharma Manjunath, H S Veeresh, Nataraj, Nagabushan, Drakshayini and former Corporator K V Mallesh were present.
